Asbestos Surveys.
UKAS accredited Asbestos Surveying working to strict quality standards in accordance with ISO 17020 as required by HSE Guidance HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide. Our surveyors are both experienced and routinely audited and assessed to ensure on-going competency. We operate a system of continual professional development, constantly striving for improvement and ensuring we maintain at the forefront of developments within the field.
Any building or structure constructed before 2000 has the potential to contain Asbestos materials. In accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, those responsible for buildings have a duty to assess those premises or structures for asbestos containing materials and undertake a suitable and sufficient risk assessment. Those assessments must be regularly reviewed (Usually annually) to ensure they remain current and sufficient for the site conditions.
It is essential that the surveys and inspections are undertaken by competent persons. Purely holding the qualification is not a guarantee of competency and there is no substitution for experience and high standards of quality.
